Jesus humbled himself on a cross
To save us from certain death
He showed no ambition or vanity
But was sacrificed for us instead
Paul reminds us to be like Jesus
Going out without ambition or greed
Humbling ourselves as Christ did
To love and meet others' needs
Father I pray I only seek
Your approval in my life
That I would follow Jesus
And fit in Your design
