God gave me this poem today. My sadness for this world was increased by the deaths at Uvalde yesterday. God reminded me He is preparing a better place for me. This world is not my home.
This world is not our home!
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? John 14:2
This world is not our home
It is a temporary place
God has a plan for us
A sanctuary when we finish this race
This world is not our home
And it can be difficult at times
To swallow all the pain
That enters into our lives
This world is not our home
You must trust in His plan
Even though each day can bring
Difficult situations to understand
This world is not our home
God will deliver us one day
So pray for those who don’t know
