Sustainable Gratitude

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

Father I plead with You

Give me a heart of gratitude

Fill me with so much of Your love

That I have a thankful attitude

Give me a sustainable gratitude

Even in times of hurt and pain

I pray the joy I have in You will

Chase away any complaints

I ask that You dwell in me

And create a new heart in me

So that every moment of each day

I will walk closer with Thee
