This is for all of you who have showered me with texts, calls, cards, prayers and encouragement. Every single gesture was God at work and you being obedient! I encourage you to continue encouraging others. Don’t discount the small gestures because they are huge!
Therefore as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12
Just a small gesture
Can be overlooked
It won’t matter you think to yourself
And satan has you hooked
Don’t believe his lies
That small kindness doesn’t matter
Because it can be huge
To someone who is shattered
Next time you feel the urge
To hug someone you know
Or send a card of concern
To a person with trouble
Don’t discount or dismiss
What God tells you to do
It may seem so small
But to someone it is huge
