I am struggling lately with keeping my joy. I have been having health issues, which is tiring, and can get me down. All the state and world events compounds my sadness. I have to ask God to rejuvenate my joy! God is my joy!
Finally brothers and sisters rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
Help me Father out of this sadness
Remove me from this grave
Let me out of my sorrow
Make me again feel safe
My heart is aching
For some kind of relief
I have moments of joy
But they have been brief
What kind of world is this
And what has happened to us all
To cause so much anger
And from grace make us fall
Fill me Lord with hope
For this sad world we live in
Don’t let it steal my joy
And cause me to give in
Give into the worry
For this world’s underlying anger
That has shown so much destruction
With such great candor
Only You Father are able
To restore in me peace
Remind me of Your love
And the sorrow will release
