Thank You Lord for this good life
You bestow on us every day
It isn’t without its troubles
And that’s why to You I pray
You never promised a perfect life
Or a life without tribulation
What You promise is a better life
With You as our foundation
You have made a place in heaven
For each of Your flock after death
