God gave me this poem because I have been struggling with stomach issues lately. Eating can be a balancing act daily, but I am learning! It can get old and get me down but, it does not mean I am any less thankful for being cancer free! I also know Jesus gets me and my struggles. After all He suffered unimaginably on the cross so He can get my little discomfort! I love you Lord!
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:16
My life is definitely harder
Since all this cancer stuff began
Please don’t get me wrong
I am thankful for where I am
But if I am being honest
And I truly want to be
This road is still a hard one
And can get the best of me
My life has changed
This is forever I know
But I am glad to be alive
And I am learning to let go
To let go of what ifs and whys
And how did all this happen
And further embrace my Father’s love
Which is more than I could imagine
