This world sometimes wants us
To pretend to portray perfection
But is it wrong to be true and
Show our flaws and imperfections
God says perseverance comes
From trials in our life
How can we share this with others
If we seem to have no strife
Father I pray You help me
To keep my faith real
Showing all the imperfections
And not trying to conceal
