God gave me this today. It is so easy to be fooled into thinking we can be self-sufficient. I find when I become prideful, for whatever reason, God always shows me how much I need Him.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. 1 Peter 5:6
I want to be humble
Instead of arrogant
I want to seek You God
Instead of my own allegiance
I want to be humble like Peter
When he chose to listen to You
And fished where You instructed
And caught many not few
Father help me be humble
And not of this world’s view
Let me be dependent
On no one but You
