He walked to Jerusalem

On the road to save us

Praised by those who loved Him

Scorned by the haters of Jesus

He knew the path in front of Him

Would be a long hard road

Still He continued to Jerusalem

Knowing what would unfold

He paid a debt owed by us

Wiping away our sins

Innocent and made of love

He knew how it would end

To our one and only King
