Does this world encourage gratitude
My opinion has to be no
It encourages clamoring for more
Whether we beg steal or borrow
God's word says to be thankful
Entering His presence with gratitude
I pray God that You will help me
Keep Your beautiful kind of attitude
Take away the world's illusions
Of what a life of prosperity is
Fill my heart mind and soul
With all of Your promises
