I wrote this poem because a friend of mine came up to me one day and said that she loved my “God shine”. I had never heard that before, but I loved it. God shine inspired this poem! I want my God shine to be bright in 2022!
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
I want to let
My God shine through
In everything I am
And all that I do
So when people see
The joy inside of me
I will be able to glorify Him and
Tell them it's God's face you see
Without my God
Shining through my soul
I am dull and lifeless
Everywhere I go
So shine God shine
And let others see in me
The beauty that is You
Living inside of me
