Today I woke up and my soul ached. I did not know why but I woke up sad. It was not until later I knew that God was preparing my heart to pray for another who lost her mother. I am amazed at how much God cares for each of us.
God prepares a way for us! God is our Comforter!
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Romans 8:26
God has prepared me
For another’s mourning
I had no idea why
My heart felt torn
But God knew what
I could not know
The news I would hear
And what God would show
God prepared my heart
To bear someone else’s pain
Through prayer and petition
I would ask God to intervene
To hold her in His hands
And let her feel Him close
Because this is the time
She will need Him the most
