I wrote this poem last November, after my quiet time and felt the Lord telling me everything was going to be okay! He gave me a peace that passes all understanding.

You are my refuge
In the midst of the storm
You prepare a place
For me that is safe and warm

It must be a glimpse
Into what heaven is like
A place of tranquility
Without sin or strife

You know what I need
Before I even ask
You have numbered my steps
And laid out my path

So I will praise you Lord
All the day and night
For you calm my fears
And give me your sight

This is a picture I took during one of my flights to MD Anderson. I was amazed at God’s beauty!
