I am the queen of worry, and I know better. This is a sin I struggle with daily! Satan is aware of this and can lay out a day of despair in front of me. Thank God that my Saviour and King delivers me daily, hourly and even every second of the day! God is my SAVIOUR!
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:25-26
God tells me not to worry
That I have been set free
This can difficult
For a worrier like me
My mind can be taken hostage
By the devil’s crafty attacks
And leave me wondering
When will my faith come back
I know the truth from God
And it always pulls me out
Of my depth of despair
And makes me want to shout
Thank you thank you Jesus
For always saving me
Delivering me from worry
And setting this sinner free
