Divine Countenance

He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you. Romas 8:11

Father I pray that this day

You will give me spiritual fortitude

So when satan tries to hinder me

My faith in You cannot be subdued

Father I ask in Your Son's name

Give me great emotional intelligence

So when satan tells me how to feel

I will only rely on Your Divine Countenance

Father I plead to You my God

Give my body physical endurance

So when satan tries to weaken me

I rely on Your blessed assurance
