Discipline

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11

Discipline can be hard to take

And even unpleasant at times

But it is a necessary action

So that with God we will align

With discipline comes growth

And when we persevere

God will encourage us with

A peaceful harvest to hold dear

Father help me be open

To receive all Your corrections

So as I go through life all

My growth is in Your direction
