Beautiful Once More

To bestow in them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy, instead of mourning, and a garment of praise, instead of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:3

I’m crying out to You Lord
For help throughout my day
I’m in the midst of a hard season
That will not go away

I’m praying for an end
To the suffering I endure
And ask You to make it
Into something beautiful once more

I’m asking for Your 
Peace that passes all understanding
And to fill me with Your Holy Spirit
With Your love so astounding

I’m seeking Your face
Until this trial is done
Asking for hope and encouragement 
Until this battle You have won
