How do you stop the bad patterns

That were handed down from ancestors

A learned behavior for some and

A prison for you and your predecessors

A pattern you may be unaware of

But someone calls you out on it

A revelation starts to take shape and

A bad pattern you realize you've inherited

Father remove all ancestral bad patterns

That continue to constantly plague me

And let me be a willing participant in

Correcting myself and living for Thee
