God reminded me of kindness today
He said it is easy to be kind to those
Who are easy to be around but difficult to be
Kind to those who their unkindness impose
I have struggled with that today
And God convicted me of it
When cornered my instinct is to flee
But God wants us to kindness commit
Father remove every bit of resentment
And give me Your heart of forgiveness
So when I see someone who is unkind
I am quick to be Your kind witness
