I have been crucified with Christ and no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The true life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I am a sixty year old wife and mother. I have been married to my husband, David, for thirty-six years. We have two boys, David and Daniel, and a daughters in law, Kayla and Madi. I have two grandchildren, Hudson and Ellie and another girl on the way. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2020. In 2022, I was diagnosed with lymphoma. Through my journey God has given me poetry to help express my emotions. This blog is the collection of poetry God has given to me. I do not profess to be an expert on cancer or poetry. I just hope and pray that these poems will help someone through cancer or any difficult journey.
